“I’d highly recommend this course to anyone who is interested in photography. Karene is passionate about what she does and I learnt so much from her. The assignments were fun and her feedback was extremely encouraging and helpful. Well worth it !"

"How it began - I didn’t know what an SLR camera was.
How it ended - I have photos, that I’ve taken, hanging on the walls of my Clients’ offices and homes.
I thoroughly enjoyed the course with Karene. The practical assignments were fun as well as educational, the notes were clear and logical and each week built upon the prior week, so I could really see the progress I’d made. By the end of the course I felt so much better equipped to make the most of my camera and through Karene’s patience and obvious talent I learnt to look at photographs, subjects and composition differently.

- How to use your DSLR camera-
- Did you ever want to learn how to use your DSLR camera properly and take better photos?
- Do you find ploughing through your manual confuses you or puts you to sleep?
- Are formal photography courses too expensive and time consuming, for the basics you need?
- Have you tried to get the best out of your images but wonder what else your camera might have in store for you?
YES? Then this course is for you. I work with various subjects, including still life, portraiture and landscape photography, on a daily basis. I can teach you simple things that will help you take even better photos. My courses are for a maximum of 10 people. I find that this works well, as it keeps things personal, informal and allows me to give hands-on assistance to every student. I am now in the process of restructuring the information, to allow for a shorter and slightly less intensive course. If you are interested, contact me I will send you all the details.
